Join a sensitive and respectful group of men and women in monthly gatherings at the EssènciesCat distillery in Pontos and online via Zoom. Together, we practise the Sensorial Approach, led by EssènciesCat co-founder and musician Frances Bartlett.
Rewilding II is born from Rewilding the Cycle — a year supporting women through menstruation and the transitions of menopause using 12 essential oils.
Many men have expressed a desire to be included in our gatherings, so Frances has selected 12 oils to complement last year’s work: oscillating vibrantly from yin to yang, from depths to heights, beginning with the twin deities Artemis and Apollo, expressed through Artemisia annua and Bay Laurel.
Frances weaves musical metaphors of the olfactory space together with simple body awareness and gentle breathing techniques that deepen our connection to the plant and its aroma.
Who is the Sensorial Approach for?
For those interested in medicinal plants who wish to discover a different way of approaching them: therapists, health professionals, artists, and anyone with a passion for plants.
The Sensorial Approach complements the usual academic structure, which is mainly based on botanical and chemical considerations.
