El jardí medicinal / The Mediterranean Medicinal Garden
Our Mediterranean Medicinal Garden is open to the public. We welcome everyone who hopes to learn more about the delicate and profound relationship humans have with plants.
The garden is a place of contemplation. We offer many courses such as watercolour painting where we encourage practices of deep observation to connect to the essence or spirit of the plant.
The garden is designed to be used with the aromatic library. Many essential oils we distill such as artemisia annua, catnip, inula graveolens can be found in the garden. There are also many wild flowers that can be harvested for tinctures and macerations.
The garden is open to schools to practice and play with identifying species and other activites.
Volunteers are welcome to spend time weeding, transplanting, making cuttings, watering and enjoying an aromatic infusion or cup of coffee with us! Please contact us to find out more!
All residues from the distilling process are organic and go on our compost or are used to create wood chip paths, flower bed borders, etc.
